Our Wedding

July 1997: if this wasn't really the happiest day of our lives, I'd sure like to relive the one that was.

Janice Adams of Columbus was our spectacular photographer.

There're many more Dwyers than Ingrahams, so only the wedding-party ones got to be in here. Susy, Mom and Dad I, us, Mom and Dad D, Robert and Paul.

The wedding party: Pat, Becky, Susy, us, Erika, Robert, Paul, and the kids - Erin, Julianne, Hannah and Luke

Kathy and John and family, including the ring bearer who got away

My dressmaker, my maid of honor, my sister and me

And then we got married and we kissed and everyone clapped. What if they did that all the time?

It just wouldn't be a wedding without Joe the Lion, the LOVE sign of our lives.

Lani (r) traveled all the way from Hawaii, and Janek (l) has since gone to Benin. I stayed right here.

Just before the ceremony, out front of St. Francis - here are Roger, Miles and Joe, and, after a touch of camera relay work, Sue, all looking delighted that it isn't any of them. (Note: Miles is very happily married already, and he went about it the sane way)

More beautiful friends enjoying the 100 degree weather after the fact - Elizabeth and Paula, "Bakerman" Del (note his work at the top of this page) and Sean

There're a couple things about our wedding that we like to flatter ourselves were memorable. Both the setup and the results of this are among them - wow!

I'm so overwhelmed at the reception, it's easiest to just dance with my niece and let everyone else socialize!

As far as we were concerned, every table was the head table. Here are some of the most festive. Props to the folks in the right-hand photo for using the props.

Among the world's absolute best creations are Becky and Albert, and Pat and Tanya

Lani, Janek, Marla and Phil. We don't think we were fortunate enough to have a romance begin at our wedding, but we do know of some fine friendships that got their start there!

They waited patiently till the adult pop geeks finally left the jukebox to them - Julianne and Luke, Amelia, (another, of course) Luke and Michael

Gerry and Andy hang out one afternoon.

Musical guests... for some, the concert of the year: our beloved Bradley and Pudman.

When I'd asked Scott if he'd sing at our wedding, several months earlier, I knew I was just expressing some vague fantasy that was so far out it wouldn't even bear repeating... now I want to go bang on every door

Hannah was my key accessory, or vice versa

Rare photo opportunities indeed - the Bosanec Three (Mom, Uncle Tom and Uncle John) among family, and all but the newest Dwyer (she was off listening to the special guest musicians, I believe)

Another type of family portrait - close, amazing friends of ours and we all started out as words across each others' computer screens. The fuzzy-haired guy up front is to blame, for the rest all met (well, not the spouses) on an e-mail list celebrating his band the Loud Family

The picture of suffering patience, and with that, I imagine I've described our gracious viewers as well. Thank you for looking at our wedding memories and for being a part of them!
