I am happy to report that there was indeed a show in Buffalo last night. I sent a fearless non-loudfan correspondent to the show and will be glad to share the few details he passed along. They played in a small bar to a crowd of roughly 40 people. Of the 40 folks in attendance, there were about 4 vocal fans, according to my friend's report. The band played 2 encores, though I don't have any real details of the setlist because my friend was unfamiliar with a lot of the songs. And, I know that they at least sold some merchandise because my friend bought a shirt. Okay, so it turns out that I don't know anything too exciting about the Buffalo show, but I know it existed, and at least one person in the audience had a great time!
Gosh, the SF LF show is only a couple of weeks away...I can't wait to meet all you out-of-towners who are making the trip out for the show!

I was at the Buffalo Show.
It was really good.
The first time I have seen them live, after listening to Scott & Co. since the Days of Lolita... Definitely worth checking out live. The songs seem to have a different feel to them, and the Band were GREAT!
They deserve so much better! than to be playing in a small bar in Buffalo! (not that there is anything wrong with that) They did a cover of an early Nazz song (I believe) which was awesome. Scot did maybe one or two tunes solo, and there were 2 or 3 encores for the mass of cheering people on hand.
P.S. I t was really, really HOT....Scott performed the entire show topless. Alison adds an incredible amount of energee and fun to some pretty intense and thoughtful music being played by a very tight, professional rockin' pop band, fronted by an incredibly gifted songwriter. All in all a splendid time was had by all....if only we could see them for more often, with a longer set.
That's all for now, from somewhere NW of Toronto.
It was worth the drive to Buffalo!
