The Cleveland Multicultural Family Playgroup United
The Cleveland Multicultural Family Playgroup United is a community of multicultural families with children in Northeast Ohio. Our group focuses on building strong families, community and friendships. This is a place where you can be yourself. To learn and have support in raising happy, healthy biracial, multiracial children, adopted children and children who come from multicultural families. We don't put a lot of demands on each other. Also we have fun family activities throughout the year. Children are always welcome at meetings. This group is also for families who want their children to learn, be exposed to and appreciate different cultures. All are welcome!
Hybrid
IFIF is proud to promote our neighbor and affinity organization, Hybrid, located in central Ohio. The mission of Hybrid is to educate and programmatically support the multiracial population as well as the transracial adoption population in Central Ohio. We believe that through knowledge, understanding and the strength of community and fellowshipping that we may understand, embrace and appreciate intra-diversity. Hybrid offers educational and social programs, guided group meetings, and creative workshops and events.

Mavin Foundation
Mavin Foundation supports the multicultural community by working to increase awareness of people "who blur the boundaries of race, community and identity." Their central project, Mavin Magazine is written by and for mixed race and transracially adopted Americans, and features a diverse cross-section of writing, photo and fashion layouts, interviews, essays, and information about campus and community organizations nationwide.

XCULTUREADOPT Mailing List
The XCULTUREADOPT listserv facilitates discussion and provides support for families created by cross-cultural adoption. These are families who have adopted children of a different race, culture or ethnicity from
themselves, either domestically or internationally. The list also includes families in the process of a transcultural adoption, people considering a multi-ethnic family, and adult adoptees of such families who are able to
share their insight into the issues surrounding cross-cultural adoption. Birthparents are also welcome.
